Duval County Unified Courthouse Facility Closed until Further Notice.
Jacksonville, FL – May 29, 2012: The old Duval County Courthouse located at 330 East Bay Street in downtown Jacksonville, Florida and the new Duval County Unified Courthouse Facility located at501 West Adams Street, are closed until further notice. For information on dates for rescheduled hearings and court appearances, visit the Duval County Clerk’s website at http://www.duvalclerk.com/move/#scheduleUpdates.Court Modified Operations

All emergency filings & emergency court business will still be handled at the Emergency Filings & Operations area located in the Courthouse Annex next door to the existing courthouse at 220 East Bay Street, in the Jury Assembly Area, Room 100. Duty Judges for Felony, Family, Civil/Probate, Juvenile and County Court will be available to handle emergency filings. In addition, Domestic Violence Walk-ins and emergencies will be handled at the Courthouse Annex.

The Pre-trial Detention Facility located at 501 East Adams Street will continue to handle First Appearance hearings in J-1, Domestic Violence Injunction hearings in J-2, and Child Support Enforcement hearings in J-3. Please note if you have a court hearing at the Courthouse Branch, 3490 Beach Boulevard (adjacent to the Traffic Violations Bureau), these hearings will be held as scheduled. Traffic Court operations will continue as normal at the Courthouse Branch at 3490 Beach Boulevard.

Please adhere to the Clerk of Court’s requirements and procedures regarding electronic filings as referenced on its website at http://www.duvalclerk.com/move.

Payments for felony & misdemeanor cases should be made at the Traffic Violations Bureau located at 3470 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida. Misdemeanor court dates may also be set at the Traffic Violations Bureau.

The satellite offices, the Traffic Violations Bureau (3470 Beach Boulevard) and Beaches Branch (1543 Atlantic Boulevard, Tradewinds Plaza) will remain open and operating normally with the restriction of emergency-only filings continuing to apply at the Atlantic Beach location. If you have a court hearing at the Courthouse branch adjacent to the Traffic Violations Bureau, these will remain held as scheduled.
