Florida Super Lawyers selected attorney Katherine Schnauss Naugle to its 2015 Florida Rising Stars list. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Florida are selected to receive the Rising Stars honor that recognizes lawyers 40 years and younger or have practiced law 10 years or less.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazines and in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country, including Florida.
Schnauss Naugle is founder of the Law Office of Katherine Schnauss Naugle, P.L. With offices in Riverside, her practice focuses on estate planning, guardianship, probate and elder law. Active in the community, she is a past president of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association and a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Small Business Resource Network. In her free time she volunteers at Jacksonville Area Legal Aid.
Schnauss Naugle is a third generation Jacksonville native and graduate of the Bolles School, Emory University, Stetson University College of Law and Stetson University School of Business Administration, where she received an MBA. She is married to Cameron Naugle, owner of Naugle Funeral Home and Cremation Services, and is the mother of two children.
